Dear Friends,
Greetings from Carndonagh, Co. Donegal! I have been having a wonderful holiday here since last Wednesday. What an amazing week of sunshine and fresh air. But you have never been far from my thoughts and prayers. I hope you too have been enjoying the sun.
Attached is my input for next Sunday, 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time and the week following it, for the Couple Prayer and/or Newsletter piece. As always the Word of God is challenging and helpful. It is a call to continue to put each other at the centre of our lives and love and to find there that God is with us and enabling us to live life to the full. I hope you will find it helpful for yourselves and that your love will be greatly blessed in the week ahead.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers each day. please keep me in your prayers and pray for all those who are following this programme for the enrichment of their marriage and family life. God bless you always.

Hej allihopa,Idag, 20 augusti, är Helige Bernhard av Clairvauxs festdag. P. Henk van Meijel S.J citerade Helige Bernhard i predikan imorse: "The measure of love is love without measure, without counting the cost”"Måttet av kärlek är kärlek utan mått, utan att räkna kostnaden”, sade P. Van Meijel.
Idag säger Fr. Johnny till os: The way of Jesus puts being successful in love as our priority. Through love we put our beloved as number one whether that beloved is our wife/husband, our children, our community, and in so far as we do that we live with great peace and joy and inherit eternal life. Jesus väg är att prioritera kärlek. Genom kärlek blir våra älskade nummer ett oavsett om vår älskade är fru/man, våra barn, vår kommunitet och om vi gör det lever vi med stor frid och glädje och ärver evigt liv. Herre, led oss och hjälp oss att prioritera rätt. Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.
Nästa helg är det inspirationsträff i
Marielund för samordnare. Herre, vi sätter vår tillit till Dig. Var
med oss och inspirera oss och låt oss åka hem berikade. Jag tror det kommer att bli en inspirerande helg. Helige

Vi ber för frid i hjärtat, frid i familjen och frid på jorden speciellt i Ukraina och i länder där det finns krig. Ge alla världens ledare kärlek, medkänsla, visdom och bra omdöme. Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.
Come Holy Spirit, Fill the Hearts of Your Faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit and we shall be created and You will renew the face of the earth. Kom Helige Ande, fyll dina trognas hjärtan och tänd i dem Din kärleks eld. Sänd ut Din Ande och vi skall bli väckta och Du skall förnya jordens ansikte.

Dear Friends,
As always, you are in my thoughts and prayers as I prepare this input for the Couple Prayer and/or Newsletter piece for next Sunday, the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time and for the week following it. I hope you are well and enjoying the summer and its restfulness. I am looking forward to gong to Donegal tomorrow for about ten days with my family there. I am also looking forward to getting a good rest!!
The attached input again has a really good message for all of us. I hope you will find it helpful for yourselves in your love for one another. I will be praying for you each day even though I will be on holidays – prayer never takes a holiday!! Please pray for me and for all those who are following this programme week by week. May God bless you and all those you love and help you to keep travelling the journey towards one another and outwards together for the world and to God. Thank you.

Hej allihopa,
Vilket fantastiskt väder vi har just nu. Det lugn som ligger över
augusti månad är alltid tilltalande men också lite melankoliskt.
The mutual love between spouses is the hope and foundation of
marriage. The debate on divorce will continue. Go forth with
love and compassion. Go forth with love and compassion. Den
ömsesidiga kärleken mellan makar är äktenskapets hopp och grund.
Debatten om skilsmässa kommer att fortsätta. Låt oss gå vidare
med klarhet och medkänsla. Låt oss gå vidare med kärlek och
medkänsla. Fr. Michael Coutts S.J. Fyll varje hem med
Din kärlek. Må vart och ett av våra hem bli en plats fylld av
Din närvaro, en källa som förmedlar frid. Amen
Fr. Johnny skriver den här veckan bland annat: Christ is a source of warmth and comfort when we put our trust in him and his way of life. Kristus är källan till värme och tröst när vi sätter vår tillit till honom och hans levnadssätt. Resten finns i brevet.
