Hej allihopa, Fr. Johnny har skickat "couple prayer" för 2 veckor eftersom han är bortrest igen. se brevet nedan. Vi får inte glömma bort att be för honom. Han ber för oss hela tiden. Herre, vi tackar Dig för Fr. Johnny och för hans arbete. Må allt han gör bära frukt, frukt som består. Bön behövs för Pia som har nyss börjat behandling för bröst cancer. Herre,vi överlämnar Pia till Dig. Må Din Ande inspirera sjukhuspersonalen så att hon får den bästa behandlingen. Hela henne till kropp och själ. Lindra Pias och hela familjens oro och låt de känna sig burna av våra böner. Jesus Helige Hjärta, vi litar på Dig. En man som heter, Tony gick bort lugnt stilla och fridfullt för några dagar sedan. Hans familj och hans tvillingbror, som är sjukligt, är i sorg. Vi tackar Dig Herre för Tony´s liv. Må han vila i frid. Vi ber att familjen får mänsklig och andlig hjälp tid under den här tiden. Vi ber att du öppnar väger så att det blir möjlig för Tonys tvillingbror att kunna åka till begravningen. Låt de känna sig burna av våra böner under den här svåra tiden. Jesus Helige Hjärta, vi litar på Dig. I söndags hörde följande tröstande ord på Pray as you Go "Come holy Spirit, come light of my heart. When we do not know how to pray, the HolY Spirit prays in us. Kom Heliga Ande, kom ljus av mitt hjärta. När vi inte vet hur vi ska be, ber den Heliga Ande i oss". God of love, teach me to walk with my brothers and sisters to build a world of justice and peace for all. Friends,
Thank you
for praying for the Parish Mission last week. It went very
well. There was a great attendance that continued to grow
as the week went on – which is always a good sign! – and
there was a lot of joy in all of us who gathered morning and
evening.
I am sending
you two instalments of the Couple Prayer again this week as
I am going on another Parish Mission on Saturday, this time
to the parish of Carrick-on-Shannon in Co. Leitrim. On many
of these Missions we do not have access to the Internet.
There probably will be access on this one but just in case
there isn’t I want you to have the one for the following
week. I hope these will be of benefit to you.
Please pray
for Fodhla McGrane and myself as we try to bring the joy of
the Gospel to this parish and a fresh impetus to them. You
will be in my prayers each day that God will continue to
bless you with joy and gladness in your love.
