Hej allihopa,
Nu när jag börjar skriva, efter en molnigt mörk dag igår, skiner solen och det finns inte ett moln på himmelen. Deo gratias.
Fr. Johnny skriver den här gången: It is hard to believe our love has so such power, that our love can transform the world in so far as we point towards Christ our Saviour. Det är svårt att tro att vår kärlek har så mycket makt, att vår kärlek kan förändra världen så länge vi riktar oss mot Kristus, vår frälsare.
Nu i januari, när allt är lite lugnare, tycker jag det är en bra tid att sprida ständig bön till nya deltagare. När jag upptäcker någon som kunde vara intresserad brukar jag visar dem listan och böneboken. De flesta brukar vara intresserade men vi måste acceptera att det inte passar alla. Samordnare i Nyköping kontaktade mig nyligen. 2007 startade Ständig Bön i den församlingen. Den är stark där så som i många andra församlingar. Många församlingar firar Mässan, inte för ständig bön för äktenskap och familjen, men för alla äktenskap på just deras bönedag.

The Catholic Bishops of Scandinavia invite Catholic families from all five countries to a great gathering at Haugetun Boarding School, Norway with the theme Love in the Family—Strength for the Church . May 21 - 24, 2020 (Kristi Himmelsfärdshelg)
Parents, children, teens, grandparents—small and big families alike— are all welcome to four days of inspiring talks, workshops, prayer and good sharings about the joys and challenges of family life in the light of our Catholic faith. Our Bishops will be there to encourage and guide us.
Accommodation
The families will be lodged in the number of double rooms they need, most of them with individual bathrooms. The school provides extra mattresses for children and all bed clothes. Bring a baby cot if you need. Youth may be accommodated on mattresses in class rooms. Check out www.haugetun.no/internat and get acquainted with the place.
The prices include three nights at Haugetun Boarding School, all meals and a visit to the Old Town and St. Birgitta Church in Fredrikstad. Travel costs are not included. Prices Adults (12 years +): NOK 1500, Children 4-11 years: NOK 750 Children below 4 years: FREE Booking fee: NOK 250 per family
En kvinna skriver "Jag vill att du lägger till en famljefar 36 år som imorgon opereras på Sahlgrenska för hjärntumör och hela hans familj". M opererades i början av veckan. Herre, vi överlämnar fadern i dina heliga händer. Vi ber att han blir helad till kropp och själ. Led alla personal som har hand om honom. Lindra M och familjens oro och låt dem känner sig burna av våra böner. Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.
Loving God, may I be filled with you. Thank you for your love, ever present, ever strong, ever consuming. Kärleksfulle Gud, Må du uppfylla mig. Tack för Din kärlek, alltid nävarande, alltid stark, alltid brinnande.

Dear Friends,
Christmas is now completed for another year and we enter into a few weeks of comparative calm in the Liturgy before we begin the preparations for Easter with the season of Lent. This short time is to help us to enjoy the experience of Christ living in us and among us in the ordinary ups and downs of our lives.
Attached is my input for next week. This reminds us that Christ among us is the Son of God, to help us into a sense of awe in our faith and hope. There is so much for us to know as awesome – the beauty of your marriage; the miracle of your family; the goodness of each person in your community; and the amazing God who loves us so much in Christ.
I pray that all of us can grow in this spirit of reverence and quiet wonder about each other and about our God. May God bless you always.

Bland föredragshållarna finns Biskop Anders och Sr.Sophie. Det
blir en bra blandning av andlighet och gemenskap med program för
alla åldrar.
