Hej allihopa,

Det är svåra tid vi lever i men Herren finns i allt.  Jag tänker mest på dem som är ensamma på något sätt.  Tveka inte att ringa till varandra och speciellt till dem som skulle må bra av ett samtal.

Fr. Johnny skriver till oss idag: "In response to the Gospel this week, make a special effort to bring this sense of joy to one another, as this is a vital way to practice our faith. Som svar på evangeliet idag, gör ett särskilt försök att ge denna känsla av glädje till varandra eftersom detta är ett livsviktigt sätt att utöva vår tro. Resten finns i brevet.

Faith is mysterious and exciting.  It is the Spirit of God that inspires us.  We interpret our faith as we act out our faith.  As  long as we do it in the love of the Father, the grace of Jesus and the companionship of the Holy Spirit, everything co-exists together.  Tro är mysteriöst och spännande. Det är den Heliga Ande som inspirerar oss. Vi tolkar vår tro när vi lever vår tro. Så länge vi gör det i kärleken från Fadern, nåden från Jesus och i sällskap av den Heliga Ande, finns allt tillsammans. Fr. Michael Coutts S.J.

Förbön behövs för ett par som har bestämt sig för att separera.  Herre, vi överlämnar paret och barnen i dina Heliga Händer.  Nu när de är ifrån varandra, hjälp dem att förstå vad det är som har gått snett och kunna prata om det. Led dem tillbaka till varandra med din Heliga Ande. Hjälp dem att kunna förlåta varandra och få en djupare relation till varandra och till Dig. Låt inte barnen komma till skada.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Vivecas Mammas begravning är nu på tisdag, 13 oktober.  Må din Ande inspirera hela ceremonin Herre så att det blir ett vackert minne för alla. Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Tacksam om ni ber igen för kvinnan som är i starkt behov av en personlig assistent.  Herre, vi överlämnar kvinnans situation till Dig.  Vi ber att du inte tillåter den här situationen att fortsätta inte bara för kvinnans skull men också för hennes sons skull.  Vi ber att juristen som handlar för hennes sak blir inspirerad av Din Ande så att hon använder de rätta orden när hon beskriver hennes situation i utlåtandet hon lämnar till Domstolen.

Come Holy Spirit, Fill the Hearts of Thy Faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created and You will renew the face of the earth. Kom Helige Ande, fyll dina trognas hjärtan och tänd i dem din kärleks eld. Sänd ut Din Ande och de skall bli väckta och Du skall förnya jordens ansikte.

Dear Friends,

 Attached please find my input for next Sunday and for the week following that. The Word of God gives a very different context for our lives and one that we need to listen to. The context we have at present from all that is happening with the spread of Covid-19 and the call to new restrictions can bring a sense of despondency and anxiety. The Word of God is about the spirit and that is also very important. The spirit can be free even when we are restricted physically and we need to tend to that as well.

 You are in my prayers every day that God may keep you and all your loved ones safe from the virus and its many different effects. But I also pray that God may lift your spirit through your love for one another and the joy that can be found in your love and your life lived for one another. Please continue to pray for me and for all those who are following this programme for married couples in many different places. Thank you.
