Hej allihopa,

Vi har kommit till 4e veckan i Advent och jag vet inte hur jag ska börja. Vi hör dåliga nyheter överallt. Hoppas att Jul och Jesus ankomst verkligen blir ett ljus i mörkret för alla. Jag tänker mest på alla som känner sig ensamma och de som har ekonomiska bekymmer, att de känner ett ljus i mörkret från Jesus och från dem som de har kär och även från oväntade håll.

Den här veckan skriver Fr. Johnny bland annat:  As you celebrate the Eucharist during this week, whether physically or online, make a special effort to apreciate the people of your faith community. And know that your love makes Christ present. När du firar Eukaristin under veckan, om i Kyrkan eller online, gör ett särskilt försök att uppskatta de människor som tillhör din tros kommunitet. Var medveten om att Din kärlek gör Kristus närvarande.

De här orden som jag hörde under veckan är inspirerande: Give God your peace and peace will return to you.  Give others your peace and peace will return to you. Ge Gud din frid och frid kommer tillbaka till Dig.  Ge andra Din frid och frid kommer tillbaka till Dig.

Tacksam om ni tänker speciellt på de vi har bett för under året speciellt paret som separerade men vill försonas, att julen drar dem närmare varandra. Kvinnan som behöver personlig assistent, att hon får en fridfull Jul. Du vet vad de som vi inte nämner behöver. Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig. 

Come Holy Spirit, Fill the Hearts of Thy Faithful and with the birth of Jesus kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created and You will renew the face of the earth. Kom Helige Ande, fyll dina trognas hjärtan och med Jesus födelse  tänd i dem Din kärleks eld. Sänd ut Din Ande och de skall bli väckta och Du skall förnya jordens ansikte.

Dear Friends,

 It does not seem like a week ago since I last wrote to you! You have been in my prayers all week since then and I hope that you are keeping safe and well. Thank God we are all well here in Clonard Monastery, Belfast.

 Attached is my input for next Sunday and the week following it. Mary is at the heart of this reflection and how she helps us to understand how much we are loved and wanted by God to live our lives of love to the full so that our joy may be complete.

 I will be praying for you as always through the next week. I ask for your prayers for a woman called Anne. She had a very serious diagnosis a few days ago in which she was told that she has a short time to live. Please pray for her and her family who are shocked by this news. And we pray for all others who are suffering at this time coming up to Christmas. God bless you always. Thank you.
