Ständig Bön för Äktenskap och Familj

Dear Friends,

 As we enter into the last week of Lent, I thank God for the past few weeks of love and grace. And I thank you for the privilege of being with you through this time. Next week, which we call Holy Week, is a very special one in which we are all invited to get in touch with the immense love that God has for us individually and as his family. This love is revealed through the suffering and death of Christ for our salvation and also through the promise of resurrection that we have in the resurrection of Christ at Easter.

 I hope you will find the attached input helpful for yourselves and for your family. As you get in touch with God’s love for you become more open to the wonder of your love for each other also because that love is such a gift and miracle. I assure you of my prayers for you and for all those you love. May God bless you and them abundantly every day and may God keep you and all of us safe through this time of pandemic. Please continue to pray for me and for one another.

Hej allihopa,

Nu börjar vi Stilla Veckan med Palmsöndag sedan efter några dagar Skärtorsdag, Lång Långfredag, Påskafton och sedan Påskdagen. Den här veckan skriver P. Johnny: "During Holy Week, we journey through all these stages with Jesus so that he may bring us new life and hope. Under Stilla Veckan reser vi igenom alla de här scenerna med Jesus så att Han må ge oss nytt liv och hopp".  Resten finns i brevet.

Låt oss alla vara förenade i bön under veckan och be för varandras och Påve Franciskus intentioner. Herre, Du vet att det är svårt för oss att inte kunna fira Stilla Veckan i Kyrkan.  Låt oss känna Din närvaro i våra liv.  Herre styrk oss och låt oss alla komma ur den här pandemin med en djupare tro. Låt det bli en pånyttfödelse bland alla kristna.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Pope Francis wrote in his book "Let us dream". "Sometimes when I think about the challenges before us, I feel overwhelmed but I´m never hopeless.  We are accompanied, we are being sifted, yes, and it is painful.  Many of us feel powerless and even afraid but there is an opportunity in this crisis to come out better." Påve Franciskus skrev i sin bok "Låt oss drömma". "Ibland när jag tänker på utmaningarna framför oss, känner jag mig överväldig men aldrig utan hopp. Vi är ledsagade, vi är prövade, ja, och det gör ont. Många av oss känner oss vanmäktiga och även rädda men det finns en möjlighet i kriser att komma ut bättre".

Förbön önskas för ett par som kommer att ingå äktenskap i Maj. Herre,  vi tackar dig för den kärlek de har för dig och varandra. Hjälp den att prioritera kommunikation och förståelse för varandra och fundera över vad de värdesätter i livet. Du vet vad de behöver mest i livet. Låt allt ske enligt Din vilja i deras liv.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.
