 Dear Friends,

 It is good to back writing to you again today. I missed this contact last Tuesday as I was enjoying the break in Donegal. It was great to be with my family for the ten days and to be able to spend time with them. You were in my prayers every day as I thanked God for the privilege of knowing you and as I asked God to continue to bless you and all your loved ones and keep you safe through this time of the ongoing pandemic.

 Attached is my input for next Sunday and the week following it. I hope you will find it helpful for yourselves and for all the important relationships of your lives, especially the vital relationship of marriage. I will be praying for you and with you in the week ahead that God may inspire all of us to the joy that is his desire for us. Please pray for me and for all those who are involved in any way in this prayer. Thank you.

Hej allihopa,

Idag, 24 september, lyssnade jag på en predikan av Fr. Michael S.J., Canada. He said among other things   "God will not and does not take satisfaction from  disasters. Some preachers use today´s lesson  to frighten us. (Haggai 2:1-9) God alone gives peace and consolation. We don´t realize that God is on our side, not against us.  God calls us and sends us the Holy Spirit to help us.  Han sade, bland annat, Gud vill inte och får inte tillfredsställelse från katastrofer. Några predikare använder dagens läsning för att göra oss rädda. (Haggai 2:1-9) Bara Gud ger frid och tröst. Vi inser inte att Gud är på vår sida inte emot oss. Gud kallar oss och sänder oss den Heliga Ande att hjälpa oss".

Angående den här söndagens evangelium sade P. Jack Lynch, Canada. "God´s grace should reach every human being even through those who don´t belong to the group.  The God who lives in Jesus belongs to all and is in all. Mission is finding out where the Spirit is and join in.  Guds nåd borde nå varje människa även genom dem som inte tillhör gruppen. Den Gud som bor i Jesus tillhör alla och är i alla. Mission är att upptäcka var Anden är och deltaga".

Den här veckan säger Fr. Johnny till oss: The greatest effort of faith is to give control back to God and live the way God wants us to live.  Den största utmaningen av tro är att ge kontroll tillbaka till Gud och leva på det sätt som Gud vill. Resten finns i Brevet.  Herre, hjälp oss att leva som Du vill.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Vi måste fortsätta att be för alla konfirmander och för alla barn.  Herre vi ber att alla tonåringar som erbjuds konfirmationsundervisning ska delta och bli inspirerade av bra kristna förebilder, särskilt de som kanske inte varit aktiva i kyrkan under pandemin. Hjälp dem vara öppna för dig och kunna ta emot den helige Ande i konfirmationen.  Vi tackar dig för alla som undervisar barn. Var med dem med din Ande.  Öppna barnens hjärtan så att de är mottagliga  för Ditt ord.  Låt undervisningen bära frukt, frukt som består. Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Come Holy Spirit, Fill the Hearts of Your Faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit and we shall be created and You will renew the face of the earth. Kom Helige Ande, fyll dina trognas hjärtan och tänd i dem Din kärleks eld. Sänd ut Din Ande och vi skall bli väckta och Du skall förnya jordens ansikte.
