Ständig Bön för Äktenskap och Familj

Dear Friends,

 We are now getting very close to the great celebration of Christmas and in this input for the Couple Prayer and the Newsletter piece we look beyond it to the Feast of the Holy Family. This is where the mystery of the Incarnation is first lived in our world – in the family life of Mary and Joseph. In this setting Christ grows in knowledge and wisdom and is prepared for his mission to the world of proclaiming the wonderful good news of God’s love for all people, especially for those who are last in human reckoning.

 This setting of Christ within family life is very significant for us today because that continues to be one of the main places where Christ lives today – in your homes and among you as a family. I hope you will find the attached input helpful in looking at this reality in your own home and in your relationships of marriage and family life.

 You will be in my prayers each day of next week as always. May God be with you to bless you and all your loved ones with joy and peace. And may you have a very happy Christmas on Saturday and in the days beyond it. Please continue to pray for me and for one another.

Den här vackra och inspirerande  bönen kommer från Canada och på Söndag imorgon är det den Heliga Familjens Festdag

Jesus Mary and Joseph, in you we contemplate the splendour of true love, to you we turn with trust.  Holy family of Nazareth, grant that our families too may be places of communion and prayer and authentic schools of the gospel and small domestic churches. Holy Family of Nazareth may families never again experience violence, rejection and division. 

May all who have been hurt or scandalized find ready comfort and healing.  Holy family of Nazareth make us once more mindful of the inviolability of the family and its beauty in God´s plan.

Jesus Mary and Joseph, graciously hear our prayer.

Jesus, Maria och Josef, i dig kontemplerar vi glansen av genuin kärlek, till dig vänder vi oss med förtröstan. Heliga Familjen av Nasaret, må våra familjer också vara platser av gemenskap,  bön och genuina evangelieskolor och små huskyrkor.  Heliga Familjen av Nasaret må familjer aldrig mer erfara våld, avvisande och splittring.  Må alla som har blivit sårade eller skandaliserade finna beredvillig tröst och helande.  Heliga Familjen av Nasaret, gör oss mer medvetna om familjens okränkbarhet och Guds vackra intentioner för den.

Herre, Förlåt all ont som har hänt under det här året och vänd det åt rätt håll.

För några veckor sedan bad vi för T som har cancer, får cellgiftsbehandling och mår väldigt dåligt. Vi Överlämnar T till dig och ber att du ger henne hopp.  Led all sjukhuspersonal som har hand om henne. Hela henne till kropp och själ. Låt henne inte känna sig ensam under den här tiden. Låt henne känna att vi ber för henne och att du är med henne.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Fill every home with your love. May each of our homes be places of your presence and sources of your peace.  Fyll varje hem med Din kärlek. Må vart och ett av våra hem bli en plats fylld av Din närvaro, en källa som förmedlar Din frid.   Fr. Johnny
