Ständig Bön för Äktenskap och Familj

 Dear Friends,

 We are now into what is called Ordinary Time in the Liturgy of the Church. After all the celebrations of Easter, Eastertide, and Pentecost over the past couple of months it can seem like an invitation to slacken off a bit and now go back to business as usual!! But it is not that at all. Ordinary Time, in my estimation, is a reminder and a call to see our ordinary, every day lives as the place that all these wonderful mysteries of God’s love are to be lived out by us through the power of God’s Holy Spirit.

 The first two Sundays of this time are Trinity Sunday and Corpus Christi. These are a reminder for us that the God we worship is God as revealed to us by Jesus Christ – a personal God and God in whose image we are made; and also that we have been given the perfect worship of God in the Eucharist, the sacrifice of Christ and the food of life.

 Attached is my input on the first of these, the Most Holy Trinity. I hope you will find this helpful for yourselves. You will be in my prayers each day of the week ahead that God may fill you with the awe and the joy of knowing our God more fully. Please continue to pray for me and for one another on this journey of faith and love so that we can all become increasingly a people of hope. Thank you.

Hej allihopa, 

On this the Solemnity of the Holy Spirit, we have the opportunity to welcome anew God´s love in the son and mercy in the Spirit.  Idag på Treenighetens Söndag,  har vi möjligheten att välkomna på nytt Guds kärlek i Sonen och barmhärtigheten i den Heliga Ande.  Fr. Darren Dias

Den här veckan skriver Fr. Johnny: "the most profound truth is about the nature of the true God, a Trinity of persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  The truth is far beyond our understanding but is implanted close into our hearts by God´s Spirit. The second profound truth is that we are made in God´s image.  This truth is also far beyond our understanding. Den  djupaste sanningen handlar om Guds sanna natur, en treenighet av personer, Fader, Son och Helig Ande. Sanningen är långt bortom vår förståelse men är inpräglad nära in i våra hjärtan av Guds Ande. Den andra djupa sanningen är att vi är skapade till Guds avbild. Denna sanning är också långt bortom vår förståelse.  Resten finns i brevet.  Herre, ge oss en djupare kärlek till Dig och till varandra.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Där finns många som gifter sig under den här tiden.  Välsigna alla par som förbereder sig inför äktenskap.  Ge dem mod att sätta kärleken till varandra främst, så att deras liv fullkomnas och deras äktenskap blir glädjefyllt.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Herre, vi ber för alla som lider, speciellt i Ukraina och där det finns krig i världen.   Låt dem känna din närvaro och att allt inte är hopplöst. Vi ber för frid i hjärtat, frid i familjen, frid bland människor och frid på jorden. 

Come Holy Spirit, Fill the Hearts of Your Faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit and we shall be created and You will renew the face of the earth. Kom Helige Ande, fyll dina trognas hjärtan och tänd i dem Din kärleks eld. Sänd ut Din Ande och vi skall bli väckta och Du skall förnya jordens ansikte.
