Ständig Bön för Äktenskap och Familj

 It is hard to believe that next week we come to the end of Lent for another year. With Holy Week we are invited to let ourselves be more fully in touch with the extent of God’s Love for us that is shown in the Passion and Death of Christ. I encourage you, wherever you are, to take as full a part in the Liturgies of next week as you possibly can. If possible do so as a couple and/or a family.

 This is also a time to look at the limits we set to our love of God and of one another and find the ways to go far beyond those limits. In this way Holy Week, and especially the Easter Triduum of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday with the Easter Vigil, will be a great source of inspiration and strength for us all.

 Attached is my input for Palm/Passion Sunday and Holy Week. As always, I hope this will be a help for you in growing in your love for one another and in love for God who loves us with an unconditional love. Thank you for being such a gift to the Church and to the world we live in because of your marriage and/or your family life.

April 2^nd – 8^th My God, why have you forsaken me?

Jesus said: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” The central reality of our faith as Christians is that Christ has risen from the dead and that he lives among us. Holy Week is the celebration of Christ’s journey into this new life; a journey that we are also invited to travel, knowing that he has gone before us, and that he travels with us. It is important to make this week a special time of prayer and reflection. This is done in the frequent Liturgies in Church during this week. Make time for these. But we need to take time at a family level and also at a personal level to get in touch with the most inspiring and life-giving love story ever told. Talk to each other this week about all the good things the Lord has done for you. If you are a parent, let each of your family know what s/he means to you. Let Christ walk with us through the pain and desolation that can so often be in our lives as we walk with him through his pain and desolation into new life.

Hej allihopa

Imorgon är det Palmsöndag och sedan har vi Stilla Veckan. The Liturgy of Holy Week invites us to remember, celebrate and give thanks for individual aspects of the one great mystery.  The two high points of which are His death on Good Friday and the triumph of the resurrection at the Easter Vigil and the extension on Easter Sunday. The Liturgy reminds us that at the heart of our faith  is our relationship to God. Many of our celebrations of the Paschal Mystery this year bring for us a deepening of Christ´s renewing presence in our life and in our world.  dailytvmss.com

Stilla Veckans Liturgi inbjuder oss att komma ihåg, fira och säga tack för särskilda aspekter av det enda stora mysteriet.  De två höjdpunkterna är Hans död på Lång Fredag och Uppståndelsens         segerglädje under Påskvigilian och fortsättningen på Påskdagen.  Liturgin påminner oss att hjärtat av vår tro är vår relation till Gud. Johnny skriver till oss:  Let Christ walk with us during this week through the pain och desolation that  can so often be in our lives as we walk with him through his pain och desolation into new life.  Låt Kristus gå med oss under den här veckan genom den smärta och förtvivlan som  så ofta kan vara  i våra liv när vi går med honom genom Hans smärta och övergivenhet in i nytt liv. Tack Jesus för allt du har gjort för oss.  Hjälp oss att fördjupa vår tro nu  under Stilla Veckan.

Tacksam om ni ber för en kvinna som bor på ett äldreboende sedan 6 år.  Hon har förlorat sin röst och kan inte uttrycka sin vilja och känner att hon är där mot sin vilja.  Tyvärr gick det inte att förklara för henne. Hon känner sig ensam och övergiven.  Herre, vi överlämnar kvinnan i Dina Heliga händer.  Du som är källan till allt liv känner till omständigheterna.  Vi ber att du öppnar vägar så att mor och dottern kan försonas.  Ge kvinnan frid och låt henne känna att hon är älskad av dig och många människor speciellt sin dotter, som är fallet..  Låt henne känna att många ber för henne.  Vi ber för alla som befinner sig i samma situation.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta vi litar på Dig.

Vi ber också för dem som befinner sig i olika situationer som de inte hade önskat.  Herre, ge dem vishet och bra omdöme  så att allt går rätt till.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Vi ber för frid i hjärtat, frid i familjen och frid på jorden. Vi ber särskilt för Ukraina och för alla folk som lider på grund av kriget och katastrofen i Malawi och Madagaskar. Ge alla världens ledare visdom och bra omdöme.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.
