Ständig Bön för Äktenskap och Familj

Dear Friends,

 It is good to be writing to you again this week. You are always in my prayers that God may bless you and your family and all your loved ones with joy and peace.

 The attached input for the weekly Couple Prayer and Newsletter piece brings us into March and into Lent. Wednesday, March 2^nd is Ash Wednesday, a very special time for us in our faith journey. This input is a really good preparation for Lent as it hits at the very core of our efforts to build our relationships of love and faith in ways that will bring hope. It is a call to stop putting one another down and to practice building one another up by how we talk to one another and act towards one another. There can be no better resolution to make for the weeks of Lent.

 You will be in my thoughts and prayers each day of the week ahead. May God be with you to help you carry any burdens you may have and to fill your hearts with peace and with gladness in your marriage and/or family life. Thank you for all your bring to the rest of us. Please continue to prayer for me and for one another.

Hej allihopa,

Fr. Johnny utmanar oss den här veckan bland annat skriver han:  Praise and thanksgiving lead to joy,  happiness and peace. The same is true in our life with one another, in our parish and community.  That is what Christ calls us to.   Lovprisning och tacksamhet leder till glädje och frid. Detsamma gäller vårt liv med varandra i vår församling och kommunitet. Detta är vad Jesus kallar oss till.

Vi ber för fred i Ukraina.  Herre, var med det Ukrainska folket.  Tack för det mod och den generositet de visar varandra. Vi ber att du griper in på något sätt.  Vi ber för dem som tillhör våra församlingar. Låt dem känna sig burna av våra böner. Du vet vad finns i våra hjärtan. Det är svårt att hitta de rätta orden. Låt det inte bli värre och låt visdom och bra omdöme råda. Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Förbön behövs för P som har det väldigt svårt just nu.  Herre, vi överlämnar P och hennes föräldrar till dig.  Var med dem och låt din Helige Ande leda dem. Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på dig,

Vi ber för frid i hjärtat, frid i familjen och frid på jorden. Ge alla världens ledare visdom och bra omdöme.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Come Holy Spirit, Fill the Hearts of Your Faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit and we shall be created and You will renew the face of the earth. Kom Helige Ande, fyll dina trognas hjärtan och tänd i dem Din kärleks eld. Sänd ut Din Ande och vi skall bli väckta och Du skall förnya jordens ansikte.

 Attached is my input for next Sunday and the week following it for the Couple Prayer and the Newsletter insert. I hope you will find this helpful for yourselves and for your family and parish life.

 The focus of the reflection is again an important one for all our relationships – ‘treat others as you would want them to treat you’! What a wonderful motto for human living. It certainly simplifies the decisions we need to make constantly in marriage and family life as well as in our social and spiritual lives. It doesn’t make them any easier – but it does make them clear!!

 You will be in my prayers each day as always that the week ahead will be a really good one for your marriage and family life. Please keep me in your prayers and pray for one another. I ask for your prayers especially for Gerry Brown and his three grownup children. Gerry’s wife Anne was killed recently in a tragic accident in Glengormley, Belfast. They have been receiving this Couple Prayer each week for the past few years. They need our prayers to help them through this terrible time. And we pray that God may grant Anne eternal rest and peace. Thank you.

Idag utmanar Fr. Johnny oss  med Jesus ord: "Treat others as you would want them to treat you".  This teaching of Jesus has very wide-ranging implications for our lives. Behandla andra såsom du vill att de skall behandla dig.  Detta lärande av Jesus har omfattande konsekvenser för våra liv.  Läs brevet.

När det gäller församlingen skriver han: "If you want to have a vibrant parish, get involved in building it in the ways you expect others to do so that you will have all the amenities that you and your family want.  Om du vill ha en levande församling,  bli involverad i att bygga upp den på det sätt som du väntar av andra så att du kommer att ha allt som du och din familj behöver. Herre, du vet att vi kommer att ha Kyrkorådsval här i Karlstad inom kort.  Vi ber att dem du kallar att vara med kommer att svara ja på kallelsen. Var med dem.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Herre, vi ber för en kvinna som verkligen befinner sig i knipa. Du har vetskap om hela situationen.  Låt inte situationen bli värre. Ge henne visdom och bra omdöme så att hon vet hur hon ska handla.  Gör henne stark och lindra hennes oro.  Skydda barnet och låt henne inte komma till skada.  Vi ber också för alla andra som har äktenskapsproblem av olika slag. Vi tänker speciellt på dem vi känner till.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Herre,  vi ber för Gerry Brown och hans tre vuxna barn. (Vänner till Fr. Johnny) Må hans fru som dog i en tragisk bilolycka i Belfast vila i frid.  Trösta  Gerry och barnen och må den känna sig burna av våra böner. Må det finnas vänner och släkt omkring dem som ger dem det stöd de behöver.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Vi ber speciellt för Ukraina.  Jag saknar ord. Det känns så hemskt. Låt folket känna att du bär dem.  Låt inte det värsta hända. Inspirera till en bra lösning på konflikten. Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

 It is a great pleasure for me think about you and pray for you every day, and every week as I prepare this input and send it out to you. Thank you for praying for me also and I ask you to continue to do that as I need your prayers and your love.

 Attached is my input for next Sunday and the week following it. The challenge in this Word of God is to let ourselves know our need of God, not just when things are going badly, but also when things are going well. Those are the times when God is asking us to be particularly generous with one another and with those around us. They are the times when we can take each other for granted and live without a spirit of adventure in our faith, hope and loveYou will be in my prayers each day of this new week. May God be with you to renew your love for one another. May God bless you and your family and all those you love and keep you safe from all harm. Thank you.

Hej allihopa,

Ni får det här brevet och Fr Johnnys brev varje vecka.  Ni behöver inte läsa dem om ni inte vill.  De är menade som lite inspiration eftersom vi ber ensamma men förstås förenade med vår grupp. Några nya grupper är på gång.  Deo gratias.

Jag ber ofta för visdom och bra omdöme.  Cardinal Collins  firade dailytvmass.com  idag (Torsdag)  Han sade bland annat.  "Lord, teach me the shortness of life that I may get the wisdom of heart. Wisdom is with Our Lord Jesus Christ.  Wisdom that goes beyond the rules.  Wisdom rooted in the love of Our Lord Jesus Christ.   Wisdom that is compassionate and understanding.  That is what we seek. Wisdom is ultimately based on the love of Jesus Christ.

Herre, lär mig hur kort livet är att jag må få hjärtats visdom.  Visdom är med Vår Herre Jesus Kristus. Visdom som går bortom reglerna.  Visdom grundad i vår Herre Jesu Kristi kärlek. Visdom som är medlidsam och förstående. Det är vad vi söker. Visdom är i slutändan grundad på Jesus Kristus kärlek.

Herre, vi tänker på alla som har äktenskapsproblem av olika slag, speciellt på dem som har önskat vår förbön.  Vaka över dem Herre. Ge dem den visdom och det omdöme som krävs för att kunna klara av deras specifika situation.  Ge dem som stödjer dem vad de behöver för att kunna hjälpa dem på rätt sätt. Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth. Vår hjälp är i Herrens namn, han som har skapat himmel och jord.

Vi ber för frid i hjärtat, frid i familjen och frid på jorden.

 You are in my thoughts and prayers everyday as I thank God for the privilege of being in touch with you so regularly and ask God to continue to bless your love for one another.

 Attached is my input for next Sunday and the week following it. The challenge in the reflection is a lovely one for next week – to make where you are attractive for others to be by the way that you are!! This is particularly true for your marriage and family life. But it is also important for the faith community and for friendships in our lives. ‘It is people you will catch’.

 Be assured of my prayers each day of the week ahead. Please pray for me and for all those who take part in this prayer programme each week. May God bless you and all your loved ones and keep you safe from all harm.

Hej allihopa,

Nu är vi i tiden ”under året” igen.  Jag hörde under veckan att februari är månaden av helande.

The healing and liberating power for good that was active in Jesus  remains present in one way or another in all who are touched by him. Den helande och befriande kraften för det goda som var aktiv i Jesus är fortfarande närvarande på något sätt i alla som som har blivit rörda av honom.

May you and I always be open to God´s will and live our days in peace, tranquility and mostly unwavering in great great unconditional faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.  Må du och jag alltid vara öppna för Guds vilja och leva våra dagar i frid och rofylldhet och för de mesta utan vacklande i stor stor ovillkorlig tro på Vår Herre Jesus Kristus. P. John Bertao.  Herre ge oss visdom och bra omdöme och hjälp oss att inte vackla även när allt omkring oss och världen verkar vara i spillror.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Den här veckan skriver Fr. Johnny bland annat:  Our task is to make Christ attractive to and available for the people of our world.  Vårt uppdrag är att göra Kristus attraktiv och tillgänglig för människorna i vår värld.  Resten finns i brevet.

Yvonne vill att vi ber för henne och Tommy.  Yvonne ramlade nyligen och har mycket ont. Hon klarar sig inte utan rullator. Tommys minne har blivit sämre. Herre, Vaka över Yvonne och Tommy.  Hela dem till kropp och själ. Ge dem vad de mest behöver. Låt dem känna sig burna av våra böner.  Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Vi ber för alla vi känner som har problem i äktenskapet. Var med dem som har förlorat förmågan att kommunicera med varandra och och hjälp dem att kunna försöka  förstå varandra.  Vi ber också för dem vars äktenskap har gått sönder. Låt dem vara öppna för allt mänskligt och andlig stöd som finns tillgängligt. Hela dem till kropp och själ. Jesus Heliga Hjärta, vi litar på Dig.

Väck de par som håller på att tappa bort varandra, så att de ser vad som håller på att hända och hittar vägar ut ur sin situation. Vi ber om detta Genom Jesus Kristus, vår Herre.  (Bönehäftet)
